Itinerary
Day 1: Meet & Greet Bodrum or Dalaman Airports, Transfer to Göcek Marina
Stop At: Dalaman Airport, Ege, 48770 Dalaman/Muğla, Turkey
Our staff will meet and greet you at Bodrum or Dalaman or İzmir Adnan Menderes Airports and you will be transferred to Göcek Marina today. Welcome to Turkey, the land of the blue cruise. Your journey will take appx. 2 to 3 hours depending on your arrival airport.

Stop At: D-Marin Göcek Marina, Göcek Camtaş Cad Göcek No:12, Göcek, 48310 Fethiye/Muğla, Turkey
Embarking the yacht in Göcek, welcome drink and information about the yacht and the tour program. Depending on arrival time overnight in a near bay after 30 minutes of cruising or in the port of Göcek and discover this wonderful small town in the evening.

Day 2: Cruising towards Ölü Deniz (Blue Lagoon), Beştaş Bay, Kayaköy Ghost Town, and Gemiler Island
Stop At: Oludeniz, Oludeniz, Mugla Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
Departure after breakfast to Ölüdeniz, the world’s famous “Blue Lagoon”. Charter yachts are not allowed to enter the inner side of the bay of Ölüdeniz however we can take a walk on the beach and enter the laguna site. After a long swimming break here, we will then cruise to Beştaş Bay.

Stop At: Kayaköy, 48300 Fethiye/Muğla, Turkey
After swimming and lunch, you can hike to Kayaköy, a former Greek village, abandoned during the 1923 population exchange between Greece and Turkey.

Stop At: Gemiler Island, Fethiye Turkey
Our yacht will wait for us in Island Gemiler, with widespread ruins of churches going back to the Byzantine period. You shouldn’t miss the stunning panoramic sunset from the hilltop.

Day 3: Kalkan, Xanthos and Patara Ancient Cities
Stop At: Kalkan, Kalkan, Turkish Mediterranean Coast
Early departure and after a cruise of app. 4 hours arriving at Kalkan. Kalkan is one of the most sophisticated resorts of Turkey, with its unique ambience. In recent years, Kalkan has become a spot for upmarket couples seeking a taste of authentic Turkey. It is a pretty village of stone houses set on a hillside around the attractive harbour.

Stop At: Xanthos Antik Kenti, Kalkan 07970 Turkey
Visits with a minibus to the ancient Xanthos and Patara. Xanthos was a city in ancient Lycia, the site of present-day Kınık although in early sources Xanthos is used synonymously for Lycia as a whole. The archaeological site of Letoon is located between the towns of Kaş and Fethiye, approximately 4km south of Xanthos along the river.

Stop At: Patara, Patara, Turkish Mediterranean Coast
Our journey continues with Patara, Patara has the honour of being the longest beach in Turkey, 22 km of beautiful white sand, backed by dunes and mimosa bushes. The beach is a nesting place for the rare Caretta Caretta turtles and access is not permitted after dark. Patara was once the most important harbour in Lycia, famous for its oracle of Apollo, until it silted up in the Middle Ages. It was the birthplace of St. Nicholas and it is known that St. Paul and St. Luke visited. The site is fascinating, the remains part buried in the sands, evocative and intriguing. It includes an acropolis, temple, agora, theatre, baths and the magnificent triumphal arch.

Back to Kalkan to discover this picturesque town or in a nearby bay to relax and swim.

Day 4: Kekova, the “Sunken City”, Kekova Island, Hike in Kaleköy (Simena) and Üçağız (Theimiussa), Gökkaya Bay
Stop At: Kekova, Kekova, Turkish Mediterranean Coast
After breakfast cruising to Kekova the “Sunken City”. Usually reached by boat from Ucagiz, the area of Kekova, named after its largest island, is a group of islands and bays, home to a number of ancient Lycian settlements, some of which are now submerged in the sea. The most atmospheric spot is the sunken city, where ancient houses, stairs and pavements can be seen submerged in the clear waters. Unfortunately, it is now forbidden to swim here.

Stop At: Kalekoy Harbour, Kas Turkey
Time to hike now. In the afternoon, we will hike in the region of Simena, Kaleköy and Üçağız (Theimiussa). The remains of ancient Simena, now modern Kaleköy (just inland of Kekova Island), form one of the most impressive historical sites in Turkey. Simena sits below the remains of a Crusader castle, and many of the ruins, some dating as far back as the 4th century BC, have been partly submerged in the Mediterranean since a series of coastal earthquakes 1,800 years ago. It’s also home to a Lycian burial ground, and huge sarcophagi are scattered along the nearby hillside. Simena is a protected site, but we will explore these Lycian tombs and half-submerged houses protruding from the water by gliding through.

Day 5: Cruising to Demre, Myra, Lycian Rock Tombs and Kaş Harbour
Stop At: Demre (Kale), Demre (Kale), Turkish Mediterranean Coast
A short cruise to Demre (Kale), the modern settlement at the place of the ancient city of Myra. In Demre we will visit the church of St. Nicholas, who was the Bishop of the city in the 4th century. This saint who has gathered to himself a large body of mythology is no other than Santa Claus of the western world.

Stop At: Rock tombs in Myra, Demre (Kale) Turkey
Other highlights of the village are the ancient theatre and the neighbouring Lycian rock tombs. Impressive!

Stop At: Kas, Kas, Turkish Mediterranean Coast
In the afternoon departure to Kaş. Dinner and overnight will be in the harbour of Kaş. Enjoy the nightlife in Kaş or we can anchor one of the closest secluded bays in the region.

Day 6: Cruising back to Fethiye from Kaş and Hiking in Fethiye Butterfly Valley
Stop At: Butterfly Valley, Fethiye Turkey
After breakfast early departure from Kaş to Fethiye. Anchor for some wonderful hiking in the Butterfly Valley, a canyon located at the skirt of Babadag (Antikragos Mountain) was for thousands of years, its only inhabitants were the butterflies and their local fauna. It is now protected by the World Heritage Foundation. Overnight in a cove near to Fethiye.

Day 7: Cruising to Ağalimanı, Bays of Göcek, Hiking at Hamam Bay or at Lydae
Stop At: Göcek Island, Muğla, Turkey
A day of relaxation on board. Cruising until Ağalimanı behind Kap Kurdoğlu. Swimming and lunch here. In the afternoon one more swim stops in one of the surrounding bays of Göcek. Short hiking to Hamam Bay or to Lydae.

Day 8: Disembarking in Göcek

End of our blue saga. After breakfast, we will provide your transfer to Bodrum or Dalaman or Izmir Adnan Menderes Airports for your domestic and international flight. Have a lovely journey.
