Meeting outside Kings Cross Station In London we will get the Express train to Newcastle Upon Tyne, a Roman city which later featured heavily in wars with Scotland. Its many fine buildings largely a legacy of the Industrial Revolution and its famed coal and shipbuilding industries.

Known around its world for its beer and bridges amongst other things, Newcastle is a city like no other and we will get to see both the most amazing urban train view in Britain as well as a street voted Britains most beautiful (not Edinburgh or Bath)!

We will surely find a great place to eat or drink in this city with a well renowned reputation for for its pubs before we return back to London.

If time allows we can customise this tour and visit The Angel of the North.

See the famous Tyne Bridge, the most famous of the many bridges across the River Tyne and learn of why this design was chosen.

Stop At: Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne England

Once a hive of industrial activity now teeming with bars and restaurants with great views across the river to the Sage and Baltic Exchange buildings.

Our very own Millennium Bridge…. and it winks!
