You start your tour near the Palace of Westminster and ‘Big Ben’. Your guide will tell you about the British Parliament and Government before leading you across Westminster Bridge, where you will get a wonderful view of the Houses of Parliament.

From this view point outside the former Greater London Council offices you will get stunning views of Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament from the South Bank of the River Thames.

Stop At: The Queen’s Walk, South Bank of the River Thames Se1, London England

As you walk along the South Bank of the River Thames along the Queen’s Walk your guide will entertain you with stories of the River Thames and the fascinating buildings you will pass on both sides of the river. You will have plenty of opportunity to take pictures of some of London’s famous landmarks.

You pass London’s famous gallery of modern art, the Tate Modern with its famous tower and Turbine Hall. Why not return for a visit after the tour!

Your guide will tell you about William Shakespeare’s time in London
in 16th and 17th century and the building of the old and new Globe Theatres. Enjoy view of St Paul’s Cathedral and the Millenium Bridge from here.

Stop At: Anchor Bankside, 34 Park St, London SE1 9EF, UK

You make a stop outside the Anchor pub, an old brewery tap. Your guide will tell you about life in Southwark (London’s main entertainment district from 13th – 17th century) and many stories about the industries, people and activities which used to go on in the fascinating part of London.

Stop At: Golden Hinde, St. Mary Overies Dock Cathedral Street Cathedral St., London SE1 9DE England

A brief stop by the Golden Hinde will bring to life stories of explorers and pirates and an introduction to London’s history as the busiest and most important port in the world until the 1960’s.

Stop At: Hay’s Galleria, 1 Battle Bridge Lane, London SE1 2HP England

You pass by Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market (where you will return later) on the way to Hays Galleria, a converted shipping wharf which is now a restaurant and shopping complex. From here you can get some excellent views of London’s famous Tower Bridge and the museum ship, HMS Belfast.

Your tour passes back via the beautiful Southwark Cathedral and finishes at Borough Market, London’s premier foodie market, full of delicious treats for you to enjoy after your tour!
