Stop At: Big Ben, Parliament Sqaure Elizabeth Tower – Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London SW1A 0AA England
You start your tour near the Palace of Westminster and ‘Big Ben’. Your guide will tell you about the British Parliament and Government before leading you across Westminster Bridge, where you will get a wonderful view of the Houses of Parliament.

From this view point outside the former Greater London Council offices you will get stunning views of Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament from the South Bank of the River Thames.

As you walk along the South Bank of the River Thames along the Queen’s Walk your guide will entertain you with stories of the River Thames and the fascinating buildings you will pass on both sides of the river. Your guide will tell you about William Shakespeare’s time in London

You make a stop outside the Anchor pub, an old brewery tap. Your guide will tell you about life in Southwark (London’s main entertainment district from 13th – 17th century) and many stories about the industries, people and activities which used to go on in the fascinating part of London.

A brief stop by the Golden Hinde will bring to life stories of explorers and pirates and an introduction to London’s history as the busiest and most important port in the world until the 1960’s.

You pass by Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market (where you will return later) on the way to Hays Galleria, a converted shipping wharf which is now a restaurant and shopping complex. From here you can get some excellent views of London’s famous Tower Bridge and the museum ship, HMS Belfast.
