Itinerary
Day 1: WELCOME TO ALASKA
Pass By: Alaska, Alaska
Your BrushBuck Guide will pick you up at your hotel for the beginning of your adventure! We will depart Anchorage and head south to the Crow Creek Gold Mine to experience Alaska’s rich pioneer mining history.
Travelers will have a chance to pan for gold and walk the historic mining area before we head to the Alyeska ski resort to go up the tram! Beautiful 360-degree views of snow-capped peaks and the Turnagain Arm await.
After lunch and a chance to shop in the town of Girdwood, we depart for Seward. Your guide will interpret the history and landscape while stopping along the way at scenic turnouts.

Day 2: A FREE DAY IN SEWARD – ACTIVITIES ABOUND
Stop At: Seward, Seward, Alaska

Day 3: SEWARD TO DENALI PARK – SCENIC ALASKA SIGHTSEEING
Stop At: Denali National Park and Preserve, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska
Pack up and say goodbye to the ocean and hello to the Alaska interior! After a delicious breakfast, we depart for the moderate hike to the Exit Glacier just minutes from Seward. Walking up to a glacier is an unforgettable experience that all our travelers enjoy!
Once done with our hike we depart up the Kenai and through to the Matanuska Valley and onto the small town of Talkeetna. Walking, eating, and shopping in this small Alaska town make for a great experience before we go on to our Denali lodge to turn in for the evening.

Day 4: ACTIVITIES DAY IN DENALI NATIONAL PARK REGION
Stop At: Denali National Park and Preserve, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska

Day 5: A DAY IN BEAUTIFUL DENALI NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Denali National Park and Preserve, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska
Today we have the chance to see an incredible amount of interior wildlife! We depart on the Tundra Wilderness Tour bus to look for Dall sheep, moose, caribou, grizzly bear, black bear, wolf, red fox, coyote, bald eagle, and more!
On prior trips, we have seen as many as 16 bears in one day!! Denali National Park also hosts the largest mountain in North America, Denali or “Great One”. Standing at 20,237 feet, it is the 3rd tallest mountain in the world!

Day 6: DENALI NATIONAL PARK TO ANCHORAGE
Stop At: Alaska, Alaska
Today we visit the historical dog mushing team of Denali National Park! These dogs are the only sled dog team in the National Park Service and are still used for supplying the backcountry of the park in the winter. After the sled dog presentation, we depart for Anchorage. Guests who would like to ride the train to Anchorage may do so from Denali or Talkeetna.
