This tour is a great way to experience some amazing sights of Alaska, wildlife, glaciers, and a rainforest within a half day. Your guide will pick you up from downtown Anchorage and drive along Turnagain Arm, which boasts abundant scenic views and Alaskan wildlife within easy access to the city of Anchorage. Well… sort of. See, this is typically the worst 6 weeks in Anchorage, called "breakup season". Everything is melting and dirty, the temperature can't make up its mind and there is a lot of unpredictability. We figured if you've found yourself in "The Last Frontier" during these weeks you deserved a chance to get out of Anchorage.
We'll keep you as clean as possible as we drive around the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and introduce you to our favorite furry friends, making sure to save time for all the muculent photo ops. On our way back to Anchorage we'll stop in Girdwood for folks to grab snacks, souvenirs, and more as this fun, forest town decides it's just not that into Winter anymore.
This tour will probably be the highlight of your trip since someone lied to you about April being a great time to come to Alaska, but we won't make any promises.

This is an amazing way to be guaranteed to see many of Alaska's most sought after wildlife in a safe and animal friendly park! The bears are adorable, but trust me, seeing a bear in the wild can be a pretty intimidating. Much of Alaska's wildlife you will never see and even the moose, which are super common, visitors can go days or even weeks without seeing one and sometimes you'll see a few in any given day but visiting Alaska's Wildlife Conservation Center guarantees you'll see these animals and so many more!

Licensed by Alaska's Transportation Department, I am setting this up as 4-5 people because of the way the Viator commissions and Park fees work, if you are just one or two people you can still book the tour but I need to charge for 4 or 5 people to make it feasible, if that makes sense.
