Day 1: Guided ground tour Fairbanks to Coldfoot

Stop At: Northern Alaska Tour Company, Fairbanks, AK 99708
Begin your 3 day adventure by meeting your informative, friendly Alaskan guide who is certain to make the experience a memorable one. Northern Alaska Tour Company pioneered small group touring on Alaska’s Dalton Highway. We invite you to join us and experience for yourself the legendary hospitality and authentic interpretation that have made our Arctic Ocean Adventures famous.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: James Dalton Highway, Fairbanks, AK
This journey includes 2 days of guided ground tour on the Dalton Highway. Day 1 is a ground tour from Fairbanks to Coldfoot – stoping and learning about Alaska’s Arctic along the way.
Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Yukon River Bridge, Alaska
Experience the mighty Yukon River. Marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland’s most famous waterway and learn of the river’s storied past.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: BLM Arctic Circle Monument Sign, MP 115.5 Elliott Highway, Fairbanks, AK
Cross the Arctic Circle at Mile Post 115 Dalton Highway – receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate.
Duration: 30 minutes

Accommodation included: Coldfoot Camp – Overnight at rustic Coldfoot nestled in the Brooks Mountain Range. Rooms are simple with 2 single beds.

Day 2: Day 2 – Cross the Brooks Mountain Range to Deadhorse

Stop At: James Dalton Highway, Fairbanks, AK
Day two the ground tour continues on the Dalton Highway from Coldfoot to Deadhorse — Cross the Brooks Mountain Range. Visit the historic community of Wiseman. Explore up close the amazing arctic tundra of the vast Arctic Coastal Plain and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface.

Accommodation included: Overnight at Deadhorse Camp in Deadhorse, the service community for the site of North America’s largest oil discovery.

Day 3: Reach the shores of the Arctic Ocean and fly back to Fairbanks

Stop At: Deadhorse, Alaska, Deadhorse Dr, Prudhoe Bay, AK 99734, USA
Travel out on the Prudhoe Bay Oil Fields and dip your toe in the frigid waters of the Arctic Ocean. This access is past the security gates which is why we require either your driver’s license information or passport information as part of the reservation requirements.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Northern Alaska Tour Company, 3820 University Ave S, Fairbanks, AK 99709, USA
The adventure will finish with a flight from Deadhorse to Fairbanks. The flight will depart between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Multiple types of aircraft are used pending the weight and number of guests. Final flight plan will be finalized with the guide on the evening of Day 2.
