Talkeetna Trip Overview
Take an enchanting 1 hour dog sled ride through the woods and experience a bond between humans and dogs that is thousands of years old. Feel the dogs excitement as you pull up to the kennel, and are greeted by the team. Take your time getting to know the dogs as we explain what the tour entails and how to drive the sled. Then you and your guide will be off on a scenic sled ride. Your guide will stop throughout the sled ride for photos and to let you switch positions on the sled. After the ride you can take as much time as you would like to pet the dogs and ask us questions.

Itinerary
The tour begins with a meet and greet of our 4legged buddies, a basic overview of the sled. Then it’s off on a scenic ride through snow covered fields, and through birch forests eventually winding back to the kennel where we started. We will stop multiple times on the tour to take your photo and so you can change positions driving and riding on the sled. After the ride you can stay and pet the dogs for as long as you’d like.
Average tour time is approximately 1.5 hours total. Time on the sled is around 1 hour.
