Ride the waves during an optional 90 minute surf lesson with a local surfing school, where you’ll get acquainted with the Pacific Ocean and California’s legendary beaches. Your surf lesson is adapted to all levels. If you’ve never surfed before, your instructor will go over the basics, from popping up, surfing etiquette and ocean safety. You will also learn to paddle and catch your first wave!

After the lesson, you’ll continue your day with a walking tour of Santa Monica, an elegant city with a laid-back beach town feeling. Start with a stroll on the Santa Monica Boardwalk as well as the Santa Monica Pier, where the famous Road 66 ends, to find some souvenirs. Continue on the Third Street Promenade, where you can get lunch (on your own) in one of the fine-dining restaurants.
