Itinerary
Come explore one of the most beautiful, unique spots in Central Florida, Silver Springs with a biologist!
We’ll explore the Fort King Paddle Trail where there is an abundance of wildlife and hidden treasures to admire. Silver Springs was Florida’s very first tourist attraction and many movies were filmed here including the original Tarzan movies and even a 007 movie! The many abandoned movie props will make you feel like you’re in a jungle adventure movie!
We may see monkeys, fish, turtles, water fowl, and maybe even manatees. The water is so crystal clear, the bright blues and greens seem unreal. Ask all the questions you want to about the beautiful plants and animals you’ll see here.
Even if you are a true beginner, this paddle session is very calm and mellow. It is best experienced on one of our stable paddleboards. Our friendly guides will have you feeling like a pro in no time. We do have a few kayaks available on every tour for guests who don’t want a paddleboard. Please make sure to let us know that you prefer a kayak.
Each guest will be given lots of hands on instruction during this guided tour and also a life vest.
