Itinerary

Join us on this kayak & snorkel adventure starting at Napoopoo Pier at beautiful & historic Kealakekua Bay. We provide kayak gear & instruction & then help you launch your double kayak for the trip across the bay to Captain Cook Monument. We provide exclusive state permits to land kayaks near the Captain Cook Monument which you will visit and snorkel from the pier. We provide snorkel gear & instruction & your guide will help you find the best snorkeling spots to see the myriads of tropical fish and coral gardens below. We provide bottled water and snacks before heading back to our starting point. Join us for this popular and interesting adventure in paradise! Paddlers age 10-65 are welcome, but be aware the paddle across the bay is 35 minutes of strenuous paddling & guides set a brisk pace. The ocean waves can cause an expected capsize which requires a significant physical effort to right the kayak and complete a push-up to reenter the kayak. Consequently this trip is only for strong, physically fit, fully mobile, healthy paddlers under the weight of 250 pounds. If anyone in your group does not meet this description, please don’t sign them up!
