Itinerary
This is easy, you can do it!
This is a guided downhill bike tour along the slopes of Haleakala, entirely on paved roadways. This 25 mile ride has LESS than 1 mile of peddling, it’s safe and FUN!
The company owner, Billy, personally guides “almost” every single tour.
You’ll ride on a custom built bike from 6,600 feet all the way down to sea level.
Starting outside of Haleakala National Park, you’ll ride through an expansive open cattle ranch with bi-coastal views of Maui (clouds permitting), the quaint towns of Kula, Makawao and ending in the center of Paia Town.
There is a chase van that blocks cars so you are able to ride in the middle of the lane on the roadways. Using our coordinated traffic system cars will never be directly behind you when you are on the bike.
We stop along the way to take pictures, talk about the history of the area, pet horses, snack on local food, laugh, etc.
Although this is a group activity, you will be able to enjoy the ride at a pace you’re comfortable with. You’re welcome to bring personal belongings and leave them in the chase van for the duration of the tour. We provide you with everything you could possibly need to safely enjoy this tour.
