New Orleans Trip Overview
Join us for the only motorized scooter tour in New Orleans.
We’ll meet at Avenue Scooters for a brief safety lesson and intro, sign some legal paperwork, and head off for a 3 hour tour of the Garden District and Uptown neighborhoods. We start off slowly in the Garden District to get a full view on the magnificent mansions in the area, including some celebrity homes.
As we scoot through the Garden District, we’ll take the smaller side streets to get you acquainted with the scooter and off the beaten path. We will see the outside of world famous Commander’s Palace and venture by foot into Lafayette Cemetery if it’s open.
On our way to the Carrollton neighborhood, we drive briefly on St. Charles and see Tulane and Loyola University as well as the Creole Cottages and Shotgun homes of Uptown. About halfway through, we stop for a 15-20 min coffee break on Oak street at the site of the former Marine Bank.
On our way back to Avenue Scooters we ride through Audubon Park.
