Tour begins at 1:00 p.m. at Tony DeMarco Statue at the corner of Hanover and Cross Streets in the North End.

1st stop, iconic pizza that TripAdvisor ranked the #1 IN THE COUNTRY TWICE! 2nd stop, an exterior visit to the historic Old North Church, followed by tasting of Best of Boston Sandwich, which is sure to be the best Italian sub that you’ll ever eat. Then we’ll visit two hidden gems: a THREE-TIME Best of Boston Bread Bakery, and a salumeria that was featured on the Food Network’s “Best Thing That I Ever Ate”. Last up, a pasta course at an award-winning family-owned restaurant that’s a fave with locals and celebrities alike! Oh, and a cannoli for the road, but not just ANY cannoli. An iconic one! • Monica Mercato’s Award-winning Italian Sub – A tasting sample of Monica Mercato’s Best of Boston-winning Italian sub.
• Bricco Paneterria’s Old World Italian Bread – Tasting sample from 3x Best of Boston Bread Bakery. Depending upon guests’ dietary restrictions: Best-selling Parmesan-Prosciutto or Olive Loaf.
• Bricco Salumeria & Pasta Shop – Mozzarella – Tasting sample of house-made mozzarella, paired with award-winning bread and flavored balsamic vinegars.
• Limoncello – Pasta finale – Artisanal bread and olives. Choice of Time magazine-featured Rosette Pasta, 3-cheese ravioli, or Penne with Pomodoro sauce, along w/Mama’s meatball.
• Modern Pastry – Cannoli – Takeaway iconic cannoli from North End institution, Modern Pastry. Plain, ricotta, with powdered sugar.
