Our half day self guided E-bike tour provides you with a 3.5 hour rental to enjoy the scenic waterfall corridor including Multnomah Falls. This is our most popular option because it allows you to experience the highlights of the route at a nice pace. You will have time to see 7 waterfalls and do several short hikes. You can spend some quality time at Multnomah Falls and enjoy a snack at the Historic Multnomah Falls Lodge.

Mt. Hood is the highest summit in Oregon. It features waterfalls, glaciers, and historic Timberline Lodge, built by local artisans during the Great Depression, and featuring the longest ski season in the US. To the north of Mt. Hood is the Hood River Valley and Columbia Gorge American Viticultural Area (AVA), the lovechild of the Columbia Valley and Willamette Valley AVAs. You will get intimate with this area through the opportunity to enjoy the local wine, cider, and beer, a visit to Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, and stops at Vista House and Multnomah Falls, the tallest waterfall in Oregon and most visited site in the Pacific Northwest. Your expert guide will teach you about the natural history, cultural history, and wine background of the area, as you drive the Mt. Hood and Historic Columbia River Highway Scenic Byways. You'll visit 2 vineyards. We host lunch, and a glass of wine at one vineyard, *you cover beverages at a second vineyard, at your leisure*.

Guests on this tour will be treated to a scenic drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway and see 4 or 5 unique and breathtaking waterfalls, including world-famous Multnomah Falls. They will enjoy several short walks through secondary and primary old growth forest while learning about the flora and fauna of the region. One of the stops along the way includes the Historic Vista House which allows for amazing photo opportunities. If there is any adventure that we love more than biking in the Columbia River Gorge, we would be hard-pressed to identify it. The cycling here is world-renowned and it's no accident it's one of less than a dozen places in the world to have a Peloton-guided scenic ride created around it. We get to do that in real life! We will ride between 35 and 60 miles (60 - 100 km) depending on your interests and the group, with lots of up and down hills, although all at gentle slopes and lower elevations (nothing over 900 feet / 300 meters).

The adventure here is a challenge but not an unsurmountable one; from one end of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway to another, or an out-and-back ride from a stunning viewpoint, along a scenic highway, then onto a protected bike/pedestrian pathway. Either way, we will ride some of the country's most beautiful roads and visit beautiful waterfalls like Multnomah and Horsetail Falls.
