Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Zion-Mt. Carmel Tunnel, Zion National Park, UT

For the half-day tour, you can choose between number one and two on the itinerary. If you aren’t already going in to this main part of the park on your own we can drive you in and give you some history of the park as well as stopping at the best pullouts for some awesome pics. After a drive through Zion that includes the switchbacks and the mile-long tunnel we will take a short hike up a sandy wash to see some little-known petroglyphs. If there’s time we can also hike the overlook trail at the East end of the tunnel. There is also a good chance of seeing some of the Desert Bighorn Sheep that live in the Eastern side of the Park.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Lava Point, Utah 84767, USA

If you are already planning to spend some time in the main part of Zion on your own then we will take you into the Kolob Terrace portion of Zion National Park. Most of the roughly 230 square miles the park covers are accessed from here. This area is not as well known to tourists so it allows you to experience the grandeur of Zion away from the crowds. Lava Point Lookout offers a sweeping view of nearly the entire park system. In the past, this is where the rangers would watch for fire starts, though it is rarely used for that purpose anymore, it gives a unique opportunity to look down on Zion National Park from above.
A short hike will take us out to one of the hidden gems even the rangers won’t tell you about…a cave covered in Anasazi pictographs estimated to be around 2,000 years old. This part of the tour is an experience not offered by anyone else.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Grafton, Utah

This ghost town is the most photographed in the west for a reason. It’s beautiful. The story of the people who lived here is harrowing and more interesting than any of the movies filmed here, the most well-known being “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”
