The Lamar Valley was carved out by glaciers many,many years ago.Since then it has housed a wide variety of wildlife such as the Wapiti Wolf Pack,Bison,coyotes,Trumpeter swans,Eagles and many more.Varieties of wildlife come here to graze and migrate through while enjoying the fresh rivers,ponds,and vegetation.Then resting in the tree line after filling their bellies.This area is beautiful and offers a variety of wildlife and scenic photography opportunities.

The Fishing Bridge is the oldest bridge in Yellowstone.It was a popular fishing area due to the native Cutthroat spawning here at the base of the Yellowstone lake.We will have a little time to walk around,enjoy some scenery and learn history.

The Dragons Mouth and Mud Volcano area is a must see.The ground looks and sounds so angry here.Its amazing that we ever settled in nearby towns around this geothermal feature.

Stop At: Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190
At the Canyon area you’ll be spending a bit of time at the Grand view of the canyon.You’ll head on to the Brink of the Upper Falls and to the Artist Point to view the over 300ft Lower Falls.
