Being 170 km east of Hanoi capital, Halong Bay is easily accessible from Hanoi center by shuttle bus. Howeve, from Noi Bai airport to Halong city (or Tuần Chau Marina) it is accessible only by private transfers. So you should book in advance a private transfer to Halong Bay.
